Expo West 2017 (Exclusive Video Interviews Included!)

It is a sunny, warm day in Southern California. You pull up at a huge hotel crowded with people and saunter through the doors. You smell a multitude of foods being cooked, and see 80,000 people walking around, trying samples. Sauerkraut. Marshmallows. Bone broth. Paleo pizza. Cold brew. Bone broth. Granola. Pork rinds. Bone broth. The food options are so diverse, and they all seem to scream out, “Eat me!” You then wonder: Where am I? Is this heaven?

In fact, it is EXPO WEST. You are at the Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, California!

Yes, this is THE Justin of Justin’s!! He was so kind and generous, and their company is amazing. Seriously, best peanut butter cups ever. Go check them out!

For starters, what even is Expo West? I’ll tell you! It is a 4 day-long convention filled with all the best natural products and foods (there are 2,786 companies!). Every company has a booth, and gives out samples during the whole convention, which was last weekend. It is also an incredible opportunity for like-minded health enthusiasts to meet each other and try new, delicious foods. That is exactly what I did!

Here is the incredibly kind and talented Leanne of Healthful Pursuit. Her website, podcast and YouTube channel are a great resource for anyone following a Keto or Paleo diet. We had such a great time chatting together!

It was so cool to see how huge the Paleo movement has become, and how many new Paleo foods there are out there! Below are some of my favorite Paleo brands that I discovered, plus ones that I already loved.

Look at these amazing almond milk ice creams from The New Barn. They are so yummy, and this company creates such healthy, clean almond milk. Plus, it’s Paleo-friendly!

Yes, the Anaheim Convention Center is actually this big! Crazy, right?

Yup, these are HEALTHY SPRINKLES from India Tree! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw these vibrant colors. As it turns out, all the colors come from natural vegetable dyes. I can’t wait to use these gorgeous sprinkles on my treats.

The Godfather of Paleo, himself! Mark let me taste all his new Primal Kitchen products, and they are so yummy! Some new foods are Green Goddess dressing, Caesar dressing, and Collagen Fuel. Expect a giveaway coming soon 🙂
